VR Designer

Verizon Labs is seeking a VR designer to work with the Lead VR Designer to conceptualize and design interfaces and experiences for next gen VR and AR products. PORTFOLIO/LINKS OF WORK STATING INVOLVEMENT ON EACH PROJECT ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED. WILL NOT CONSIDER WITHOUT PORTFOLIO/LINKS WITH EXPLANATIONS OF CANDIDATE'S INVOLVEMENT ON EACH PROJECT

Required Skills:

  • 2 - 4 years experience in Interface Design, Web Design, or Mobile Design
  • 4+ years experience in 3D modeling (3DS Max, Maya, Cinema 4D or equivalent)
  • 2+ years experience in computer animation
  • 2+ years experience in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (or equivalent)
  • Some experience sketching or prototyping interfaces (paper or otherwise)
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Work with Lead UX Designer in creating design mockup animations and interactive prototypes to clearly communicate experience to development team
  • Occasionally user-test releases from development team to ensure design compliance
  • Work with rest of UX team to conceptualize/test/play new ideas for VR/AR experiences
