Job description

GRANT & WEBER is looking for a motivated, organized individual to join our Third-Party Liability Team at our Agoura Hills office. This is a great opportunity for a college student or young professional who wants to gain hands-on experience in an office environment while developing skills that translate to careers in business, healthcare, finance, insurance, legal operations, and beyond.

What You'll Be Doing

As a member of GRANT & WEBER’s Third-Party Liability team, you’ll work on behalf of our hospital clients to help identify and pursue insurance coverage when an outside party may be financially responsible for a patient’s medical care.

Rather than billing the patient directly, our team works with auto insurance companies, attorneys, and other third parties to help ensure eligible medical expenses are submitted to the appropriate responsible party.

In this administrative role, you’ll use specialized software and online portals to:

  • Research and retrieve insurance, claim, and case information
  • Help identify the appropriate insurance carrier or responsible third party
  • Gather and organize documentation needed to process medical claims
  • Communicate and coordinate with insurance companies and attorneys
  • Update claim information and maintain accurate records within our systems

We understand that school comes first. This position offers approximately 20–25 hours per week with scheduling flexibility designed to accommodate classes and other commitments.
