It is a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the growing field of telemedicine while working in a supervised learning environment.

What does a typical day look like for a Telemedicine Intern?

As a Telemedicine Intern, your day might involve assisting with virtual patient intake, supporting providers during video consultations, managing electronic documentation, and helping ensure patient privacy and data security. You'll often work closely with physicians, nurses, IT professionals, and administrative staff to facilitate smooth digital interactions and patient follow-up. The role may also include researching telehealth best practices or gathering feedback to improve patient experiences. This hands-on exposure helps interns understand the workflow of remote healthcare delivery and develop valuable collaborative and technical skills for future careers.
