Responsibilities

  • Participate and learn about developing HRIT solutions through the systems life cycle including requirements, testing, configuration, and implementation

  • Learn to capture business needs and support creative solutions

  • Participate in delivering functional and technical requirements to development teams

  • Run, deliver, and review reports for business stakeholders

  • Participates in projects in consultation with IT Security, Infrastructure Team, Business Owners and Vendors

  • Support projects through each phase as an active participant

  • Assist in ensuring that all deliverables are completed in accordance with Project Management methodology; contribute to the communication of status

  • Learn the operational activities on projects and enhancements, including monitoring resource needs, preparing documentations, status reports, key issues and/or change controls

  • Assist in maintaining the overall health of HR Systems at CF through system issue tracking and cross-functional alignment

Successful incumbents will have

  • Pursuing a Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field

  • Basic understanding of IT and business concepts

  • Proficiency in productivity software (ex: Microsoft Office)

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and to collaborate to deliver against the organization's goals in a deadline-oriented environment

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with organization and time management skills

  • Ability to learn, demonstrate and apply knowledge of the business to deliver improvements in solutions and processes and better align IT Service with Business goals
