Job description

As a Sushi Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing authentic sushi dishes while ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. You will work within a medium-sized team of 6 to 10 members and report directly to the Head Chef. Your expertise in sushi preparation and ingredient selection will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare sushi and related dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Select and source fresh, high-quality ingredients for sushi preparation
  • Present food attractively to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Manage inventory to ensure the availability of essential sushi ingredients
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization to comply with health regulations
  • Ensure strict quality control throughout the food preparation process
  • Engage with customers to address questions and requests when necessary
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sushi preparation
