As an Accounting Analyst I/II, you'll play a key role in supporting core accounting functions and delivering insights that drive business decisions. This role combines financial analysis with process improvement, giving you the opportunity to optimize workflows through technology and automation while building strong cross-functional partnerships.

We're looking for a detail-oriented problem solver who is energized by working with data, improving processes, and contributing to a high-performing team.

What You'll Do

  • Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting

  • Prepare and maintain financial schedules, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders

  • Support internal and external audits by providing clear documentation and explanations

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement and automation

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency

  • Participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives

  • (Level II only) Serve as a resource for less experienced team members and contribute to more complex analyses and projects

What You Bring

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with strong accounting focus

  • Accounting Analyst I: 1+ year of experience in accounting or relevant internship

  • Accounting Analyst II: 2+ years of accounting experience (energy industry experience preferred)

Preferred:CPA or progress toward certification

Key Skills

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial skills

  • Ability to work with and interpret large data sets

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)

  • Effective communication and collaboration across teams
