Your Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct interpretation sessions remotely in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.
  2. Be prepared to take notes during interpretation sessions.
  3. Familiarize yourself with industry-specific vocabulary, particularly in healthcare and medical fields.
  4. Ensure accurate and complete interpretation without adding, omitting, or substituting any information.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service during interpretation sessions.
  6. Facilitate effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients.
  7. Participate in internal professional training and seek additional certifications.
  8. Maintain communication and report to your team leader.
  9. Adhere to dress code requirements for remote interpretation sessions.
Your Background and Experience:

  1. Fluency in English and native proficiency in Spanish.
  2. Minimum of 1 year of remote interpretation experience in a reputable company is a must.
  3. Strong understanding of medical terminology; familiarity with legal terminology is a plus.
  4. International certifications in the healthcare industry (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA) are advantageous.
