This is a paid internship, at competitive rates. The Memorial Day and 4th of July holidays are paid days off.
CNO Financial Group is hiring an Accounting Operations Intern to work alongside our Accounting Operations associates with professional day-to-day work within the department.
Core responsibilities and deliverables:
  • Developing and facilitating documentation of key processes supporting quarterly reporting and analysis.
  • Assisting with daily accounting operation tasks.
  • Completing special projects.
  • Assisting with month end and quarterly close.

What you need (Minimum requirements):
  • Progress towards a bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline.
  • Status as a rising junior or rising senior, approx. graduation dates of December 2027-June 2029.
  • Availability to work 40 hrs/week for 10-12 weeks during the summer.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Co-Pilot, Co-Pilot Studio, Power BI, Alteryx, Power Automate, VBA, Denodo, and Microsoft 365 Ecosystem.
  • Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.

The CNO 2027 internship program will run May 17 through August 06, 2027.

All work must be performed within the United States, and occasional travel to corporate offices may be required.
Associates living within 60 miles of a corporate office (Carmel, IN; or Chicago, IL) have access to work from that location as needed.
