Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intake assessments, including diagnostic evaluations to identify clients' needs, strengths, and areas for growth.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices to address a range of mental health issues.
  • Provide case management and advocacy to help clients access community resources and navigate barriers to care.
  • Engage with clients through both face-to-face and telehealth sessions, ensuring effective therapeutic interventions tailored to their conditions.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support to clients in distress and developing strategies to de-escalate challenging situations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in Electronic Health Records (EHR), in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in clinical and interdisciplinary meetings, contributing insights and collaborating with team members to enhance service delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to promote successful outcomes.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through training, seminars, and workshops to continuously enhance your skills.
  • Assist in the supervision and mentoring of junior therapists and interns, ensuring high standards of care are upheld across the team.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in a human services-related field is required.
  • Active licensure in the District of Columbia as an LPC, LICSW, or LMFT.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Excellent listening, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a remote team.
  • Commitment to maintaining licensure in good standing throughout employment.
  • Successful completion of background checks in compliance with agency requirements.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
  • Prior experience in telehealth or remote counseling settings.
  • Familiarity with treatment modalities for substance use disorders.
Compensation and Benefits
