EoS Fitness is seeking an Sr. HR Manager, HQ to support our decentralized headquarters team across the full employee lifecycle. In this role, you will partner closely with leaders and employees to provide thoughtful, responsive HR support in a fast-paced, remote-first, multi-state environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys building trusted partnerships, strengthening the employee experience, and helping teams thrive through growth and change. Reporting to the Vice President of HR (Talent) Strategy, the ideal candidate brings strong generalist depth, sound judgment and experience supporting distributed teams with consistency, care, and practicality.ย

Whatย You'llย Doย 

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for our decentralized HQ team across onboarding, employee relations, performance management,ย developmentย and offboardingย 
  • Partner with HQ leaders on team effectiveness, organizational changesย and day-to-day people supportย 
  • Advise managers on core HR matters, including coaching, performance management, employee relations, policy interpretation,ย recognitionย andย teamย planningย 
  • Support onboarding and new hire integration to create a strong start for new HQ team membersย 
  • Support HQ hiring efforts alongside our in-house recruiters, partnering with leaders to help deliver a thoughtful and efficient candidate and hiring manager experienceย 
  • Help drive engagement and retention byย identifyingย trends, surfacingย risksย and recommending practical solutionsย 
  • Manage employee relations matters with professionalism,ย consistencyย andย appropriate escalationย in partnership with leaders and cross-functional stakeholdersย 
  • Ensure HR practices are administered in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple statesย 
  • Support key HR programs and cyclical processes, including performance reviews, promotions, compensationย changesย and talent planningย 
  • Partner with Talent, Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, and other internal teams to deliver coordinated people supportย 
  • Maintain and improve HR processes,ย documentationย and tools to drive consistency and scalabilityย 
  • Use data and employee feedback toย identifyย opportunities to improve employee experience, managerย effectivenessย and operational efficiencyย 
  • Contribute to HR projects and change initiatives that enhance support for a multi-state, decentralized, remote-first workforceย 
  • Support special projects as needed, including opportunities to contribute to consulting services for adjacent business ventures such as Municipal Gyms, while flexing across evolving business prioritiesย 

What You Bringย 

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience in an HR Generalist, HR Businessย Partnerย or HR Manager role within a corporate environmentย 
  • Broad HR generalist experience across core people practices, including employee relations, performanceย supportย and organizational changeย 
  • Experience supporting multi-state employee populations, with a strong understanding of employment practices and compliance considerations acrossย jurisdictionsย 
  • Strong working knowledge of California employment law and confidenceย inย applying compliant HR practices in a fast-paced, multi-state organizationย 
  • Experience working effectively in decentralized, distributed, or remote-first environments across multiple locations and time zonesย 
  • Strong employee relations judgment and experience handling sensitive matters with discretion,ย consistencyย and professionalismย 
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability toย establishย credibility with employees,ย managersย and cross-functional partnersย 
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesย 
  • Experience improving HR processes, documentingย workflowsย and creating practical tools or SOPs that drive consistency and scalabilityย 
  • Comfort using HR systems, reporting toolsย and data to support decision-making and continuous improvementย 
  • Strong business acumen and a practical, service-oriented approach to supporting a high-growth, evolving organizationย 
  • Preferred: interest in developing andย facilitatingย leadership training to strengthen manager capability and leadership effectivenessย 
  • Preferred: experience supporting benefits administration and partnering effectively with a PEOย 
  • Preferred:ย Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldย

  • This is aย hybrid,ย primarilyย remote role supporting a decentralized HQ team. Candidates should be comfortable collaborating across time zones in a multi-state environment.ย 
  • Preferred candidates will be based inย Orange County,ย San Diegoย Countyย orย theย Greater Phoenix area.ย ย ย 
  • Occasional travel will be needed for team connection,ย onboardingย and key business initiatives.ย
