CONTRACT OVERVIEW
  • ROLE TITLE: Salesforce BA
  • WORK ARRANGEMENT:
    • 100% Remote.
    • The candidate must be a current resident of Wisconsin.
    • If not a current WI resident, the candidate must be relocated by the start date.
REQUIRED SKILLS: (Need Majority; 5+ Years)
  • Five or more years of experience with Salesforce business analysis or a related area. (MUST HAVE Salesforce BA experience)
  • Understanding business processes and process mapping.
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to Executive Leadership.
  • Ability to develop, document, and communicate practical business requirements with traceability to test cases.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and take on additional responsibilities as required by the position.
  • Able to present functional systems for the project in a way that business stakeholders can understand, especially if they are not familiar with the system.
  • Own and manage all scope items. Drive each requirement through understanding, estimating, and successful delivery by the technical team.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
  • 2 years of previous government experience
  • Six Sigma, Lean, or equivalent Process Reengineering Certification
  • Prior experience with Jira software
  • Prior experience with Salesforce Public Sector product suite
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a strong Accounting emphasis, and solid experience with business applications
  • Prior experience with Lawson or Infor CloudSuite Financials
INTERVIEW PROCESS:

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE: Milwaukee County is seeking an experienced, high-energy Business Analyst for initiatives within the Department of Administrative Services - Information Management Services Division (IMSD) project portfolio. Responsibilities include:
  • Assist with finalizing requirements for a government public sector Salesforce implementation.
  • Provide close direction and support of business stakeholders.
  • Document "As Is" and "To Be" process flows.
  • Map data movement within application web pages.
  • Perform thorough testing before handing over functionality to business stakeholders for end user testing.
  • Optimize use of ERP modules (e.g., Cash Management and Bank Reconciliation) and support initiatives to improve end user productivity in Finance and Supply Chain.
The BA will review, analyze, and evaluate business processes as they relate to system and user needs, and formulate business processes to support overall strategies. The successful candidate will:
  • Communicate effectively with users and departmental management.
  • Identify solutions to business problems using process reengineering and technology.
  • Be familiar with current and emerging technologies and standards.
  • Be effective at following plans and completing goals on time and on budget.
  • Work independently and perform a variety of complex tasks.
  • Demonstrate creativity and latitude in work execution.
