Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)

Under the direct supervision of pharmacy administration/staff pharmacist the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for filling medication orders, filling patient cassettes, filling and maintaining point-of-care automation, make deliveries and pick-ups to and from the patient care areas. Responsible for filling of all stock requisitions, unpacking and stocking daily orders, proper storage of all medications, pre-packing of medications, performing assigned floor inspections, keeping track of returned and expired medications, maintaining proper inventory records, following appropriate waste management, IV admixture batching and preparation.
Required Experience:

Hospital/Retail experience or RUMC Pharmacy internship or externship preferred and/or completion of Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) program preferred.


Education requirements:

High School Diploma requiredPharmacy Intern permit preferred.Pharmacy Technician Certification required.


Computer equipment skills:

Basic mathematical & computer knowledge is required.Successful completion of all orientations and competencies.

Salary Range: $27.612/hr - $29.394/hr (Commensurate with Experience)
