Job description

Salina Regional Health Center is seeking a full-time Informatics Pharmacist to enhance pharmacy technology, medication safety, workflow optimization, and regulatory compliance within their 207-bed Trauma Level III hospital. This role integrates clinical pharmacy expertise with informatics and healthcare technology to improve medication-use processes and patient safety, supporting both onsite and hybrid work schedules with competitive pay and relocation assistance.


Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Full-Time)
Hours: 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities

  • Optimize and support pharmacy informatics systems and workflows
  • Improve medication safety and operational efficiency
  • Support pharmacy automation systems and technology
  • Manage medication-use processes and compliance initiatives
  • Assist with drug diversion monitoring programs
  • Support automated dispensing systems and smart IV pumps
  • Work with barcode scanning technologies and EHR systems
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services including medication dispensing and drug information
  • Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare teams on process improvements

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program
  • Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience
  • Current Kansas Pharmacist License OR eligibility for Kansas licensure
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication-use systems
