Peak Performance PT is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in East Hartford, Connecticut. Salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually.

As a Physical Therapist at Peak Performance PT, you will work in an onsite rehabilitation setting that is designed to facilitate recovery and healing. • Provide comprehensive and patient-centered therapy by effectively managing the therapeutic care process for an assigned caseload, ensuring coordination with physicians and the broader patient care team.
• Conduct detailed patient assessments and participate in the formulation of individualized care plans aimed at achieving specific rehabilitation goals and enhancing patient engagement.
• Administer and oversee physical therapy treatments, guiding patients through exercises and therapies designed to improve strength, mobility, and overall function.
• Perform evaluations to assess therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional progress, actively contributing to the development and adaptation of the overall plan of care.
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions in various settings, including patient homes, utilizing effective techniques to support patients’ recovery as prescribed in the physician's care plan.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, the use of assistive devices, and home care strategies to ensure continuity of care outside of therapy sessions.
• Prioritize patient caseload effectively, determining daily staffing needs and coordinating assignments to optimize workforce utilization.

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will serve a diverse range of patients with varying conditions requiring orthopedic rehabilitation and recovery support. This includes adolescents recovering from sports injuries, adults managing chronic pain, and elderly patients undergoing post-operative rehabilitation. Your focus will be on delivering personalized care that recognizes each patient’s unique circumstances, goals, and abilities.

• A valid Physical Therapy license for the State of Connecticut.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or willingness to obtain it within 30 days of employment.
• No prior experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those new to the field of physical therapy.

While previous experience is not mandated, candidates with exposure to patient care environments, internships, or clinical placements during their educational journey will be advantageous. A background in orthopedic therapy, sports rehabilitation, or pediatrics may enhance your skill set and effectiveness in this role.
