Swann Clinic is hiring behavior technicians and credentialed RBTs.
Swann Clinic for Behavioral Health is a multidisciplinary Behavioral Health Center of Excellence applied behavior analysis (ABA) clinic on the Western Slope committed to children with autism and developmental disabilities and their families. If you are interested in paraprofessional work, teaching, psychology, counseling, occupational therapy, speech therapy, or any social work-related field, this is a great position for you. A psychologist specializing in neurodevelopmental disorders is the owner of the clinic and has been hired from within for internship opportunities.
Previous work as a paraprofessional or special needs clinician, babysitting/nannying, preschool and school work, or aligning well with our goals and mission. Skills learned in this field can enhance your overall ability to work with children in a variety of settings. As a behavior technician, you will be working as a paraprofessional and behavior therapist in the field of behavior analysis. You will collaborate with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide ABA services to children in a clinical setting. You will be responsible for teaching and documenting a variety of skills under the direction of the BCBA. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with families and support them while they watch their children flourish and gain new skills and experiences.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clean background check.
  • Current RBT credential or willing to obtain once hired.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • Skill with iPads and technology.
  • Ability to interact well with children.
  • Proficient writing and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility and creativity as time management skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and with others.
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods (30 minutes or more).
  • Ability to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods.
