Reds Youth Academy Operations Manager
Department: Reds Community Fund
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Reports To: Director, Reds Youth Academy
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Job Summary:
Manages daily operations of the Reds Youth Academy and oversees the execution of all logistics for any usage of Youth Academy including but not limited to tournaments, games, rentals, meetings, outreach initiatives, and events. Responsible for hiring and managing interns associated with Youth Academy operations.
Employees are expected to follow all Cincinnati Reds policies and procedures, serve as positive role models, and manage their workload effectively. This includes demonstrating flexibility, prioritizing tasks efficiently, and meeting departmental productivity standards.

  • 1-3 years of experience in events or facilities operations and logistics

Oversee all Reds Youth Academy scheduling, including tournaments, games, rentals, meetings, outreach initiatives, and events

Manage all communications associated with Youth Academy operations, including inter-departmental work orders, meeting requests, etc.

Manage the details associated with Youth Academy operations with external partners, such as Cincinnati Police Department, Cincinnati Public Schools, Cincinnati Recreation Commission, and others

Assist with day-to-day oversight of the intern program and deployment.

Manage all Reds Youth Academy data entry and reporting

Assist with various outreach events, such as Community Makeover, RBI Signing Day, Coaches Clinics, etc.

Assist with communication with outreach program participants and families.

Attend other Community Fund and community events and activities as needed.

Reporting Structure:
This role reports directly to the Reds Youth Academy Director.
