Job description

Internship: Channel Systems Engineer

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands


Summary:

The System Engineer is responsible for establishing technical relationships with businesses on behalf of Fortinet and work on Cyber Security projects based on our Security Fabric portfolio. 

The System Engineer Intern will join our SE Team to support our partners to understand our Security Fabric proposition. Supported by some Senior SE, this role will be able to develop technical skills around several Cyber Security Pillars like NextGen Firewall, Cloud Security, DevSecOps and other. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Member of the SE team in Utrecht 
  • Pre-sales Technical support to internal team and customers/partners : 
    • Respond to technical questions about Fortinet Products from Partners
    • Run Fortinet Solution technical demo,
    • Articulating the technology and demonstrating differentiated value over the time with colleagues' support.
    • Being able to learn new technologies with our NSE Academy support. 

Required Skills and Technical Experience: 

  • Master or Engineering school (or equivalent) with Network/System or Cyber Specialization.
  • Knowledge about Networking (Switch, Routing, Firewall), Operating Systems and Cyber Security, underlined by a Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 4 Certification ("NSE 4").
  • A self-motivated, very curious, and highly technical person. 
  • Full professional fluency in Dutch and English.
