Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer will support and improve manufacturing operations by solving complex technical problems, optimizing processes, and driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The role requires strong engineering fundamentals, hands-on manufacturing floor presence, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute complex manufacturing engineering tasks independently.

  • Identify technical issues and develop practical solutions with limited precedent.

  • Troubleshoot manufacturing, process, equipment, and production floor issues.

  • Improve equipment performance, process efficiency, quality, and cost outcomes.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, A3 problem solving, standard work, waste reduction, and efficiency projects.

  • Collaborate with technicians, operators, engineers, mentors, and cross-functional teams.

  • Evaluate the impact of process or equipment changes on related systems.

  • Participate in verification, validation, and technical review activities.

  • Spend significant time on the manufacturing floor, including working in PPE/gowned environments.

  • Interact frequently with operators and support daily production needs.
