Job description

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
This designer will report into the Field Sports Apparel Design Manager and work alongside a cross-functional team responsible for the creation and evolution of Branded Lifestyle Field Sports and Nike Team Builder apparel collections.
This role requires strong partnership and collaboration across Product Management, Merchandising, Graphic Design, Technical Development, Material Development, Sourcing, and Global Field Sports business teams. The designer will also engage with key sport and team stakeholders to ensure product solutions authentically connect to the culture, energy, and identity of field sports athletes and communities.
The role requires translating consumer insights, athlete needs, team requirements, and marketplace opportunities into compelling apparel concepts that balance performance, lifestyle, and commercial impact.
This role will not have direct reports.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
5+ years of relevant apparel design experience in a professional design environment.
Proven experience designing apparel collections across performance, lifestyle, or team sports categories.
Strong understanding of apparel construction, fit, materials, trims, and manufacturing processes.
Outstanding ability to apply foundational design skills including sketching, illustration, concept creation, and visual storytelling across both analog and digital platforms.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and the Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with digital apparel creation tools, including CLO3D or equivalent 3D design platforms.
Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows, digital concept creation, and visual exploration tools.
Strong understanding of color, graphics integration, proportion, texture, scale, and apparel systems thinking.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and influence cross-functional partners through the product creation process.
Strong portfolio showcasing innovative apparel design solutions and a clear point of view around sport, culture, and consumer-led design.
Preferred qualifications include experience in Field Sports, Team Sports, Licensed Products, Team Uniforms, and Sports Lifestyle product creation.

As a Senior Designer, you will lead and contribute to the design of apparel solutions across the Branded Lifestyle Field Sports and Nike Team Builder businesses.

Nike Team Builder apparel systems that serve athletes, teams, coaches, and organizations across multiple levels of competition.
Seasonal apparel collections that blend performance with elevated lifestyle design.
Teamwear, sideline, training, travel, and fan-focused product concepts.
Apparel systems that create scalable solutions across teams, leagues, and sport communities.
Design concepts that leverage athlete and consumer insights to create meaningful connections to sport and brand.
You will drive projects from concept through execution, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver premium product experiences that meet athlete needs, elevate team identity, and strengthen Nike's leadership in Field Sports apparel.
