Compass Counseling Services of NOVA is seeking passionate, mental health therapists for our Intensive In-Home program.

This is a great opportunity for those seeking a comprehensive clinical experience as a Resident in Counseling, Supervisee in Social Work, or internship experience with strong training and supervision.

You'll deliver in-home mental health treatment to youth (under 21) experiencing serious emotional or behavioral challenges—helping reduce the risk of out-of-home placement and strengthen family relationships.

As a Community-Based Mental Health Therapist with Compass you will:
• Provide direct mental health treatment to assist clients in working toward their treatment goals and objectives
• Have opportunities to with a diverse community of clients
• Continuously work to engage the primary caregiver, family members, supports, school, and other treatment professionals
• Receive regular paid training, professional development, and supervision designed to help you acquire extensive clinical skills
• Assure that clients have access to 24/7 crisis support as needed

Education, Experience, & Other Requirements:
Preferred: Master's in Counseling or Social Work with eligibility for residency in Virginia preferred. We offer free residency supervision for LPC or LCSW residents.
Required: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or other human services field; valid driver’s license with at least 1 year driving history and good driving record; availability during afternoons and evenings.
