Job description

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Associate to join our growing team!

Position Overview:
The Associate will be an integral part of a high-producing team with decades of experience in tenant representation. This team is recognized for its exceptional track record of successful lease negotiations, strategic real estate solutions, and long-term client relationships. As an associate, you will have the unique opportunity to learn directly from some of the industry’s top professionals, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to high-profile projects from day one. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead top-of-funnel business development by engaging C-suite stakeholders through persistent, personalized executive-level cold calling.
  • Assist in the identification of suitable commercial spaces for tenant clients, based on their unique needs and requirements.
  • Conduct market research, including comparable property analysis, lease term structures, and vacancy trends.
  • Support the negotiation and execution of lease transactions, ensuring favorable terms for the client.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, landlords, brokers, and property managers.
  • Attend client meetings and property tours with senior brokers, providing support throughout the process.
  • Prepare and review lease documents, proposals, and other related contracts.
  • Assist in the creation and presentation of market reports and proposals for clients.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of tenant representation projects, from initial prospecting through lease execution and beyond.
  • Track market activity and maintain up-to-date knowledge of available spaces, lease rates, and market conditions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create materials and presentations for client engagement.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service is maintained throughout the lease transaction process.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2-4 years of experience in Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in commercial real estate or a focus on tenant representation is a plus.
  • Strong interest in commercial real estate and tenant representation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Maps, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate software (CoStar, LoopNet, etc.) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a real estate license within California.
  • Must have reliable transportation for meetings across Los Angeles and Orange County.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and/or written) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in commercial real estate, tenant representation, or related industries (internships, leasing assistant, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of real estate contract law and leasing principles.
  • Familiarity with local real estate market conditions and key players.
