Job description

River Valley Counseling Center, Inc. is inviting graduate level interns who are pursuing a Master’s or Doctorate degree with a concentration in mental health counseling, clinical psychology, or social work to apply for an internship.

Overview of Clinical Intern Duties:

Under the guidance of a licensed supervisor, interns will perform intakes, provide individual, and group counseling to individuals across the lifespan.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Doctorate degree with a concentration in mental health counseling, clinical psychology, or social work

Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, crisis intervention skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, computer skills, good customer relations skills, and knowledge of legal and ethical issues pertaining to the profession

Stipend offered up to $4,000 for Masters Level Interns

Stipend offered $17.25 / hour for Doctorate Practicum Students
