As an LMFT, your daily responsibilities will involve:

• Conducting thorough assessments with couples, families, and individual clients to diagnose and formulate treatment plans.
• Facilitating therapy sessions for couples while providing individualized support as necessary, focusing on enhancing communication and resolving conflicts.
• Specializing in areas such as grief and loss, family conflict resolution, blended family dynamics, and stress management, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to client needs.
• Tracking progress and adapting treatment strategies in collaboration with clients to meet their evolving needs, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Utilizing telehealth platforms effectively to maintain engagement and accessibility for clients from varied backgrounds.
• Documenting client progress meticulously in compliance with state regulations and practice standards.

Your caseload will include a diverse range of individuals and families facing various challenges, such as:

• Alcohol use disorders and recovery
• Effects of physical and psychological abuse
• Grief and loss coping mechanisms
• Family dynamics and sibling rivalries
• Transitional stress related to separation and divorce
• Medical issues affecting mental health
• Communication barriers among family members
• Additional challenges relating to blended and remarried families

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• An active state license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and effective therapy to diverse populations.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience, although newly licensed candidates are also encouraged to apply.
