Position Overview
Our growing HxG Business Operations team at HYBE America is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Business Operations Intern to support KATSEYE. The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day operational, financial, and reporting workflows behind the group's touring, physical album, D2C, and fan-facing initiatives โ partnering closely with BizOps, Marketing, Finance, and AP teams to keep multiple concurrent workstreams accurate, on schedule, and audit-ready.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Santa Monica office, with in-person collaboration 3 days per week and remote work 2 days per week. The internship will run from August 24, 2026 - December 18, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Support invoice payment processing, including HYBENET submission, entity/approval routing, and coordination with the AP team through to payment completion
- Assist in maintaining the HxG Approved Payments Tracker, helping ensure payment requests are accurately logged, due dates are realistic and verified, and urgent items are flagged for prioritized processing
- Support weekly physical album data reporting for KATSEYE, helping consolidate figures from Microstrategy, D2C Shopify, Korea data, and Luminate into shipment and sales forecast trackers
- Update pre-order and D2C sales trackers on a recurring schedule, pulling and validating sales data from various sources including Shopify
- Assist in producing a weekly Key Issues Summary by monitoring fan sentiment and discussion across social platforms (X, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok), helping synthesize top themes for leadership and the broader BizOps team
- Support daily fan sentiment monitoring and social follower tracking across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Weverse, and Spotify
- Support merch, physical album, and market strategy research โ including competitive benchmarking, pricing/version analysis, and fan response reporting โ to help inform album and D2C strategy
- Support planning and execution for fan-facing activations and events (e.g., video call fansigns, tour lightstick photobooth activations), including staffing, layout, and logistics
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance/AP, and BizOps stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely reporting across all workstreams
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or a recent graduate
- Strong interest in the music or entertainment industry
- Bilingual capabilities in Korean and English, with fluency in both languages in a work setting
- Comfortable working in Excel/Google Sheets, including organizing and reconciling data from multiple sources
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple recurring deliverables and deadlines simultaneously
- Willingness to learn financial/invoice processes and cross-functional approval workflows
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize research and social listening into clear, structured summaries
Itโs a bonus if you have
- Experience with Shopify, SAP, or similar ERP/e-commerce platforms
- Familiarity with the K-pop industry, fan culture, and physical album/merch strategy
- Experience with social listening or fan sentiment monitoring

Compensation
This role is paid on an hourly basis, with up to 35 hours per week. The hourly rate for this position is $18.47 per hour, in accordance with the Santa Monica minimum wage at the time of posting. This role does not include additional benefits or other compensatory components.
