Position Overview: Hard Rock Stadium Intern- Culinary

The Intern – Culinary will work closely with our Executive Culinary Team and support strategic culinary planning for major events and activations at Hard Rock Stadium. This role is heavily focused on culinary innovation, research and development, project planning, and administrative execution.

You'll assist in the development of new menu concepts, creation of cost cards, standardization of recipes, and concept presentations-while learning how to scale ideas for 60,000+ guests.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collaborating with chefs and F&B leadership to conduct culinary R&D for new menu items and concepts
  • Creating, updating, and auditing recipe cost cards and build sheets
  • Assisting in the development of specialty menus, tastings, and concept decks for premium and general concessions offerings
  • Participating in cross-functional planning meetings for upcoming large-scale events
  • Supporting the documentation of culinary SOPs, food safety protocols, and vendor relations
  • Assisting with event logistics, food costing, production plans, and kitchen layouts
  • Presenting research findings and culinary concepts to internal and client stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Culinary Science, Hospitality, or Food Systems program
  • Strong interest in research & development, culinary innovation, and operational planning
  • Experience with food costing, recipe development, or culinary analytics is a plus
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with an eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills and professional presence for stakeholder interaction
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint); recipe software knowledge is a plus

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to commit to the Fall 2025 season (August–December)
  • Must be able to work extended hours during major events, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to navigate kitchen environments and lift up to 50 pounds as needed

Other Requirements:

  • Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly quartered environment.
