As a Data Validation Specialist at Horizon, you will...
  • Validate and review data used for reporting, including CCBHC quality measures, to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Identify, investigate, and help resolve data discrepancies by working with internal teams
  • Analyze audit findings to identify trends or gaps, and share clear, actionable feedback with teams
  • Enter data into the medical record and maintain confidentiality of all information processed, stored, or accessed
  • Appropriately manage project expectations, milestones, and deadlines.

  • Associate degree in a human service-related field required.
  • 1 year of healthcare experience with a focus on data management or related internship experience required.
  • Must reside in the WNY region for office commute during application and upon hire, this is an in-person office position.

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Capable of writing presentations or papers, making presentations to professional peers, and working closely with upper management.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office

Location:
This position is located at 55 Dodge Rd, Getzville NY. Candidates must reside in the WNY region for office commute during application and upon hire, this is an in-person office position.
Hours:
This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Compensation
Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $18.00 - $22.00. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.
This position entails eligibility for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,500 for your commitment to work at our Horizon Certified Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) for at least one year. A change in scheduled hours or location of employment may impact eligibility of bonus.
Physical demands associated with this position include:
  • Sitting for extended periods, alternating between standing and sitting
  • Mobility required with repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements
  • Handling light duties, occasionally lifting objects up to 20 pounds
