The Role
The Assistant Project Manager supports the project management team across the full custom home build process, from early budgeting and bid documents through active construction. The role gathers and organizes pricing, maintains subcontractor and vendor relationships, keeps project documentation accurate and current, and partners closely with project managers and construction managers to keep work moving. This role calls for a detail-driven professional who takes ownership of their work and thrives supporting complex, high-end custom builds.

Responsibilities
โ€ข ย  Assist project managers in developing budgets, contracts, and specification sheets
โ€ข ย  Solicit and organize pricing from vendors and subcontractors
โ€ข ย  Coordinate estimates and general bid documents
โ€ข ย  Develop and maintain relationships with qualified subcontractors and vendors
โ€ข ย  Track and maintain project documentation for accuracy and completeness
โ€ข ย  Support purchase order and change order processing
โ€ข ย  Communicate and collaborate with project managers, construction managers, and internal teams
โ€ข ย  Utilize software including Buildertrend, Google Workspace, and related tools
โ€ข ย  Adhere to all safety, operations, and regulatory compliance policies and procedures

Qualifications
โ€ข ย  Administrative experience in residential construction preferred
โ€ข ย  Working knowledge of budgets and basic pricing functions
โ€ข ย  Ability to read blueprints and specifications a plus
