The Accounting Intern works within the Accounting department to assist with the recording, analysis, and communication of the financial results of the Company. Primary responsibilities include bank and financial account reconciliations, review and recording of financial activity, assisting with the lot acquisition process, and assisting with the calculation of home sales prices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparation of bank account reconciliations.
  • Review and record the company credit card transactions.
  • Prepare and maintain schedules and reports to track, analyze, and communicate the financial activity of the Company, including but not limited to the following:
  • Monthly reporting of sales, releases, and closings

Requirements

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; current enrollment in University required. Pursuing a degree in Accounting preferred.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Communicates effectively with vendors, internal employees, and customers.
