Job description

Dream Three is a production company founded by an award-winning filmmaker and a Broadway actor. We create high-impact, mainstream stories that awaken consciousness and drive cultural change. Our projects span mediums and genres to include scripted and unscripted, podcasts and music, theater and live events, publishing, and immersive experiences. We are an elite team: focused, high-trust, and relentlessly committed to mastery — not a 9-to-5 comfort zone. If you thrive in environments with radical candor, clear ownership, and big creative swings, you’ll feel at home here.

We are currently seeking motivated, detail-oriented Interns to join our production company for the Spring 2026 term. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain industry experience inside a fast-paced production company, that develops where you’ll read and evaluate scripts, assist with creative research, and support our executives as projects move from concept to production.

WHAT YOU'LL GAIN

  • Hands-on experience in various aspects of creative development and production

  • Mentorship from industry professionals

  • Networking opportunities within the entertainment industry

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As an intern, you'll be involved in diverse tasks based on your skills and interests, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting with film and television script reading, coverage, and notes

  • Working with lead creatives on the development of pitch materials, including researching and acquiring visual references, graphic design, and video editing

  • Researching stories and market insight

  • Supporting social media marketing through short-form content

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Strong interest in one or more of our project areas with a desire to work in the entertainment industry

  • Relevant skills or majors such as writing, research, filmmaking, theater, producing, and marketing are a plus

  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new apps and workflows

  • Must be comfortable around dogs!

TOOLS YOU’LL USE

Asana, Slack, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Dropbox, Zoom

You don’t need to know every tool on day one—but you will be quick to learn new platforms and comfortable working in a structured, digital workflow.

PLUSES

  • Experience editing in Adobe Premiere Pro

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • Availability: Must be available Tuesday and Fridays 2-6pm

  • Location: Must be local to New York City and available for in-person work hours in Manhattan

  • Type: Unpaid internship with travel stipend

  • School credit: Must be enrolled in a college or university program for school credit

  • International students: We accept applicants eligible for CPT and OPT work authorization (Entertainment-based majors only).

If this role feels like a stretch in all the right ways, we’d love to hear from you. Tell us how your skills, experience, and unique point of view can level up this team and the stories we’re bringing into the world.

Dream Three is an equal opportunity employer. We value a wide range of backgrounds, identities, and perspectives, and strongly encourage candidates from historically underrepresented communities to apply.
