**RELOCATION OFFERED**
This Nuclear Medicine Technologist opportunity is full time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient day shift schedule. Under the supervision of the diagnostic imaging services medical director and department director, the nuclear medicine technologist is responsible for preparing, measuring and administering radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic studies per specific physician orders and department policies and procedures. Performs and assists with nuclear medicine studies. Is responsible for patient safety protocols. Maintains all federal, state, local and regulatory agency requirements. Participates in CQI activities.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Corroborating patient's clinical history with procedure, ensuing information is documented and available for use by a licensed independent practitioner
  • Identifying, preparing and/or administering radioisotopes as prescribed by a licensed independent practitioner
  • Evaluating images for technical quality, ensuring proper identification is recorded
  • Identifying, preparing and/or administering ionizing radiation (x-ray in the performance of computed tomography and radioactive material) and radiofrequencies within a magnetic field (magnetic resonance) as prescribed by a licensed independent practitioner

Qualifications
  • Graduation from approved school of ARRTs with certification. Licensed in Diagnostic Radiology or Nuclear Medicine.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Required to take call / standby in Nuclear Medicine and NNMC as needed.
