You will contribute to technical documentation for implemented control logic and support verification activities to ensure the software performs in accordance with design specifications. Working with senior engineers, you will participate in testing, debugging, and resolving technical issues while gaining experience in safety system software development within a regulated environment.

You will report to the Manager, I&C Safety Software - Safety Reactor Systems Engineering and will be located in a hybrid role at the Warrendale, PA facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) and Integrated System Test (IST) teams to support testing and certification of control logic.
  • Execute assigned tasks within project schedules and quality expectations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support integration activities and understanding how control logic interacts with system hardware and instrumentation.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is required. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates should have a basic understanding of PLC programming concepts and industrial control systems.
  • Exposure to IEC 61131-3 languages such as Function Block Diagram, Ladder Logic, or Structured Text is preferred.
  • Familiarity with PLC architecture, including I/O processing and control logic execution, is desired.
  • Experience with any PLC platform is required.
