Geothermal energy is the most abundant renewable energy source on the planet, yet it remains under-deployed because it has historically been hard to find and expensive to build. Zanskar is changing that equation by using advanced exploration technology to discover new geothermal resources at unprecedented scale, and we're moving a multi-gigawatt portfolio toward construction.

About Zanskar

Zanskar is a geothermal exploration and development company based in Salt Lake City. We combine geoscience, data, and modern exploration techniques to unlock a new generation of geothermal projects across the United States. Our team is small, fast-moving, and deeply committed to building scalable clean energy solutions.

The Role

We're always looking for Summer Interns to support our team. Internship roles can range from office admin to  designed for someone who wants hands-on experience at an early-stage climate tech company and is excited to contribute to real projects from day one.

You'll work closely with team members across disciplines and gain exposure to how a geothermal startup operates-from exploration to execution.

What You'll Do
  • Support ongoing projects and day-to-day operations 
  • Conduct research, analysis
  • Assist with data organization, reporting, and internal tools
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and business teams
  • Take ownership of a defined summer project and present findings at the end of the internship
What We're Looking For
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Interest in clean energy, climate tech, or geothermal (prior experience not required)
