Select Sires, Inc. seeks individuals to join our team as Veterinary Medicine Interns. This hourly, non-exempt position is at our Plain City, OH facility and reports to the Chief Veterinarian.
Specific duties and responsibilities of a Veterinary Medicine Intern include, but are not limited
  • Serve as a positive representative of the Select Sires, Inc. Mission and Core Values.
  • Assist with sample collection, physical exams, reproductive exams, treatment of bulls and export paperwork.

A Veterinary Medicine Intern's work schedule is 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Work schedules and duties are subject to change to meet departmental needs. We offer Veterinary Medicine Internships in both the spring and summer.

Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES OF A VETERINARY MEDICINE INTERN:
  • Reliable means of transportation to report to work on time.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • A positive attitude with a passion for learning.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE OF A VETERINARY MEDICINE INTERN:
  • This internship is open to current graduate veterinary students.
