Description
SAIC has an opening for an entry level Audio/Video Technician to join our Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) program in Washington, D.C. The candidate will provide support for day-to-day management of the audio/video equipment, conference, and huddle rooms to ensure quality of recent installation and support of digital audio/video recording systems. The position encompasses A/V installations, project management support, research and evaluation of new products and technologies, training, and in-house and customer support responsibilities.
ONSITE 5 days a week - Wash DC
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support, implementation and maintenance of all audio-visual equipment within multiple locations.
  • Maintenance of equipment, repair, installation of audio and video systems, wiring and mounting of all equipment.
  • Work with multiple site managers and with our operations team.
  • Provide conference room setup support when required.
  • Provide Training room setup support and end user technology support when required.
  • Collaborate with operations and support teams to provide direction/support, streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and enhance the overall user experience.
  • Provide after hours as business needs arise.

Qualifications
Required:
  • BS and 2 years experience (4 years experience in lieu of degree)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust requiring either
  • Possess an understanding of audio, video and control flow, computers and router/wireless networking, calibrating projectors and TVs, control and video distribution, and DSP programing skills.
  • Should be familiar with (installing, programing, maintaining) various Crestron, HP Poly Stuidio, AMX, Extron, Control4, URC system, NeoPro, Kramer, Knox Video and Shinybow Video Matrix, Harman and BiAmp audio systems: DBX, BSS, and NEXIA.
  • Working knowledge of Office 365 and mailbox integration with AV technology
  • Must be willing to climb on a ladder and perform speaker, projector and screen maintenance as needed.
  • Strong communication skills

  • Crestron DMC-E-4K - The Crestron Digital Certified Engineer
  • Crestron DM-NVX-N - The Crestron Digital Media Networking Certification
  • Crestron DMC-D-4K - Crestron Digital Media Designer
  • Creston Certification Programmer 101, 201, and/or 301
  • HP Poly Studio

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
