About the Role
Are you passionate about transforming technology into seamless, intelligent experiences? We’re looking for an experienced Audio-Visual Programmer to join our Raleigh team and help design, program, and deliver world-class AV systems that bring people and spaces together.
In this role, you’ll take the lead on developing and implementing control and DSP programming across complex AV environments—partnering with design, integration, and project management teams to ensure every system performs flawlessly. Your expertise will turn technical blueprints into intuitive, high-performing solutions that connect, communicate, and inspire.
What You’ll Do – Program with Precision. Deliver with Impact.
  • Design amp; Prepare: Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure every AV system is program-ready, functional, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Program with Excellence: Develop and implement control system code for Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, and other leading platforms. Build and fine-tune audio DSP configurations for Biamp, QSC, BSS, ClearOne, and similar systems.
  • Integrate Seamlessly: Partner with field installation teams to ensure your code works hand-in-hand with system design and installation standards.
  • Test amp; Commission: Conduct thorough system testing, verification, and troubleshooting to ensure every project achieves full functionality before handoff.
  • Document Everything: Create and maintain organized programming documentation, including source code, touch panel templates, and user interface files.
  • Collaborate amp; Communicate: Work cross-functionally with clients, engineers, and project managers to ensure technical alignment, client satisfaction, and timely delivery.
  • Contribute to Innovation: Stay current with emerging AV technologies and control platforms to continuously improve system design and programming quality.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in AV system programming and DSP configuration.
  • Proficiency in Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, or similar control systems.
  • Proven experience with unified collaboration systems such as Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and IP-based AV integration.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, signal flow diagrams, and rack elevations.
  • Deep understanding of audio DSP, video routing, control logic, and system commissioning.
  • Certifications strongly preferred: Crestron Certified Programmer, Extron Control Professional, Biamp TesiraForte or QSC Q-SYS Programmer, AVIXA CTS (CTS-D preferred)
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Visio, or Stardraw for documentation.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
