The Internet Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the dealership's online sales effort, including lead generation, online lead management, and website content. This individual will manage the internet sales team, develop sales strategies, and ensure compliance.

Role Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Website Performance

  • Own internet lead performance by leading the Internet Sales Team to convert digital leads into in‑store appointments and sold units
  • Ensure the dealership website is accurate, engaging, and optimized to drive high‑quality leads and conversions

Training, Coaching & Accountability

  • Analyze performance metrics daily, identify gaps, and execute action plans that improve contact rates, appointments, and sales results
  • Recruit, train, and coach top‑performing internet sales talent, holding the team accountable to aggressive production goals

Strategy, Execution & Growth

  • Maintain hands‑on involvement in daily internet operations, supporting accurate forecasting and consistent sales momentum
  • Develop and execute online sales strategies, including promotions, digital advertising, and lead‑generation campaigns that directly impact volume and profitability

Employee Prerequisites:

  • Demonstrated automotive sales leadership experience required, with compensation aligned to experience, scope, and results
  • Fast‑track onboarding ready to step in and lead within days of applying
  • Proven experience overseeing digital marketing, website performance, lead management, and/or inventory strategy in a dealership environment
  • Strong working knowledge of automotive CRM platforms to drive accountability and conversion
  • Advanced project and performance management skills, with a focus on execution, data‑driven decisions, and measurable outcomes
