Responsibilities
  • Manage large-scale network engineering projects from planning through execution, including scoping requirements, scheduling, budgeting, and driving on-time delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of network engineers, facilities engineers, hardware vendors, and other partners.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, technical documentation, status reports, and other communications to keep initiatives on track.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize issues.
  • Use tools and processes to monitor progress, identify problems early, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Coordinate with other internal groups including Marketing, Sales Engineering, Field Operations, Network Operations, and Customer Support to align projects with business goals.
Skills/Must have
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related field preferred
  • 2-3 years' experience managing large technical projects with demonstrated success.
  • Proficient technical knowledge of network engineering concepts, protocols, and technologies.
  • Experience with PON, DOCSIS/HFC, optical transport, and MPLS networks is preferred.
  • Knowledge of telecom installation practices and standards is a plus.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and guide engineering teams to success.
  • Strong project management methodology with the ability to balance multiple initiatives.
  • Problem-solver able to navigate complex infrastructure deployments.
  • Ability to translate technical details and articulate direction to a broader audience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Business applications is required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite and SharePoint to create and track project plans and develop project management tools
