Required Education, Experience, & Skills :
Technical Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc)
  • Understanding of network architecture, design, and implementation
  • Experience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control lists (ACLs)
  • Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
  • Familiarity with network virtualization and software definite networking (SDN)

Experience
  • Adept in network engineering, with focus on design, implementation, and management of complex networks.
  • Experience with network architecture, design, and implementation in a large-scale environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully resolving complex network issues and improving network performance.
  • In depth knowledge of specific network technologies such as:
  • Routing and switching
  • Network security (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection)
  • Cloud networking e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Software-defined networking (SD)
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Experience with creating technical documentation, such as design documents, implementation plans and technical notes
