Job description

About the Position

Dexis is seeking Travel Assistants to support the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation's official travel program. The Travel Assistant will provide travel administration, traveler support, voucher review, travel-card management, reconciliation, reporting, and compliance support for domestic and international official travel. This position is onsite 5 days per week with no exceptions for telework.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance on official travel policies and procedures.
  • Assist travelers with travel authorizations and documentation.
  • Review travel authorizations and vouchers for accuracy and compliance.
  • Verify reimbursement eligibility and supporting documentation.
  • Support government travel charge card administration and monitoring.
  • Coordinate with travel management companies, vendors, and auditors.
  • Reconcile travel expenses and maintain financial records.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, trackers, and management data.
  • Assist travelers with itinerary changes, cancellations, and travel issues.
  • Maintain compliance with federal travel regulations and agency policies.
Qualificationsย 
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum four (4) years of professional experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting official travel programs, travel administration, vouchers, travel authorizations, expense reimbursement, or related functions.
  • Experience reviewing travel documentation, receipts, invoices, and expense claims.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial and personal information with discretion.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week with no exceptions for telework.
Preferred Qualificationsย 
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, finance, travel management, accounting, or related field.
  • Experience applying Federal Travel Regulations (FTR).
  • Experience with government travel systems and travel card programs.
  • Experience supporting executive-level travelers.
