Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a highly qualified International Trade Compliance Manager 3 Global Trade to join the sector Global Trade team. This position is based in El Segundo, CA, Melbourne, FL, or Falls Church, VA.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Establishes and implements the sector trade compliance program

  • Assures the compliance program complies with U.S. government regulations and internal procedures

  • Maintains the organization website and other shared sites for the organization and sector employees

  • Maintains applicable trade compliance records and provides reports in accordance with various regulatory requirements and international trade agreements

  • Represents the sector in international trade compliance initiatives and projects

  • Leads and participates in company and sector assessments and internal audits

  • Represents organization on complex contracts or projects associated with export and import regulations and company policy

  • Oversees organizational metrics supporting corporate and sector executive leadership reporting

  • Proficient in assessment and application of export and import regulations and commodity jurisdiction and classification determination

  • Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant and sensitive matters

  • Exercises good judgment seeking leadership support and guidance, including collaborating on decisions that have high visibility or impact potential

  • Manage a team of global trade professionals of varying levels of experience

The ideal candidate will be experienced with providing guidance on, authorizing and auditing/assessing ITAR and EAR transactions. Actively lead and participate in corporate-wide working groups for new procedures, regulatory changes, system implementation, etc. Will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.

Basic Required Qualifications

  • Must either have a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline with a minimum of 9 years of international trade compliance experience or a master's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline with a minimum of 7 years of international trade compliance experience or a PhD in business, finance, or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of international trade compliance experience. A HS degree or related and 14 years' experience may be considered

  • Proficiency in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)

  • Proficient in assessment and application of export and import regulations and commodity jurisdiction and classification determinations.

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Interim/Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Secret Clearance

  • Previous experience as an Empowered Official

  • Experience with OCR EASE Software and SAP GTS

  • Experience in Technology Security and Foreign Disclosure processes

  • Working knowledge of MTCR

Primary Level Salary Range: $159,500.00 - $239,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
