Product Manager & Technical Support Engineer Textile Division

We are looking for a Product Manager & Technical Support Engineer for our Textile Division (EMEA). In this hybrid role, you combine strategic product management with handsโ€‘on technical support. You act as a key link between customers, Sales, R&D, and Operations, ensuring our products meet market needs and perform optimally in realโ€‘life applications.

Your responsibilities
  • Manage and develop the product portfolio throughout its full lifecycle (from concept to phaseโ€‘out) in close collaboration with R&D
  • Translate market needs and customer feedback into product requirements and development priorities
  • Define product positioning, value propositions, and technical differentiators
  • Coordinate product launches, updates, and discontinuations across departments
  • Monitor product performance, competitiveness, and profitability
  • Provide technical expertise and training to internal stakeholders
Technical & Application Support
  • Deliver onโ€‘site and remote technical support (machine trials, testing, troubleshooting)
  • Support customers during industrial trials and startโ€‘ups
  • Analyze technical issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports
  • Act as escalation point for complex technical issues
Collaboration
  • Act as technical interface between customers and internal teams
  • Collect and structure customer feedback for continuous improvement
  • Support Sales during customer meetings and project discussions
  • Participate in customer visits, exhibitions, and industry events
Who are you?
  • You hold a Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Textile Technology, or a related field
  • You have experience in product management, technical support, or application engineering within an industrial environment
  • You are analytical, handsโ€‘on, and solutionโ€‘oriented
  • You combine strategic thinking with a practical, customerโ€‘focused approach
  • You communicate clearly with both technical and commercial stakeholders
  • You enjoy working in an international environment and are willing to travel regularly within EMEA
  • You are fluent in English (additional European languages are a plus)
