Location: Remote, based in the US (Ideally East Coast for in-person team meetings & training)
Travel: Expect 2-3 trips per month to client offices and conferences across the US and Canada. Annual international travel (1 trip per year) for company meetings and training. Travel is typically mid-week and 23 days in duration.

About the Role:
As a Greycon Senior Sales Executive specializing in complex software solutions, you will be a key driver of our growth, focused on securing new business within enterprise and mid-market accounts in the paper and board, plastic film, metals, and non-woven industries. Reporting to the Head of Sales - North America, you will manage the entire sales cycle, from identifying target clients and qualifying new opportunities, to delivering tailored presentations, negotiating contracts, and ultimately closing deals that directly contribute to Greycon's expansion in North America (US & Canada).
Your expertise in understanding and addressing complex business challenges with innovative software solutions will be essential. The ideal candidate will have experience selling enterprise-level software to Clevel executives and decision-makers and will demonstrate strong solution-selling attributes with a Challenger mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
  • New Business Development: Identify and target new accounts, execute strategic outreach plans, understand customer needs, and collaborate with solution engineers to present tailored solutions and help define the correct functionality to match the problem the customer is looking to solve.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and strategic partners, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Presentations & Demonstrations: Deliver engaging and informative sales presentations and demonstrations that showcase how Greycon solutions solve specific customer problems.
  • Communication & Feedback: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication with both external and internal teams. Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay up to date on the latest trends and challenges within Greycon's target industries and understand the competitive landscape.
  • Sales Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales leadership team to develop and execute effective sales strategies for North America. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and adjust strategies.
  • Proposal & Contract Support: Manage all aspects of proposal development and lead complex contractual negotiations. This includes the ability to structure multi-faceted deals with long sales cycles, ensuring clear understanding of revenue recognition.
  • Represent Greycon: Participate in industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 2-5 years of experience in software sales with a proven track record of exceeding targets, preferably in complex SaaS sales to mid-market and enterprise clients.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate high-value, complex, multi-year contracts and deals, including the capacity to structure multi-faceted agreements with long sales cycles and an understanding of revenue recognition principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience interacting with C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: demonstrated solution-selling capabilities and experience with the 'Challenger Sale' methodology preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships.
  • Proficiency in prospecting, presenting, and closing sales deals.
  • Proficiency in sales and analytical tools, such as CRM systems, and maintaining accurate sales forecasts.
  • Strong organizational skills: ability to manage multiple client accounts and tasks effectively and work independently.
  • Ability to work closely with Marketing and Lead Generation teams.
  • Strong business acumen; knowledge of business principles, industry trends, the SaaS sales cycle, and consultative selling.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience selling MES, APS, or trim optimization software is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with North American market initiatives and key industry players in Greycon's served industries.
