Apple's Internal Communications team is seeking an Internal Communication Strategist to collaborate on communications projects for its employees across all businesses and geographies, with a focus on Human Resources (People) communications. This position works with internal partners and subject matter experts to help advise, develop, produce and implement communications for all levels of employees..
The successful candidate will have deep subject matter expertise in communication strategy, with experience developing and executing effective multi-channel internal communication campaigns for People organizations or related functions. Demonstrated track record of building communication strategies, calendars, and quarterly planning. Must be willing and able to execute at all stages of communication campaigns and related projects from concept to completion. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, ability to create effective keynotes, and write and edit in accordance with Apple style and tone. The ideal candidate will be a driver, doer, and collaborator who is strategic, proactive, highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-moving, complex environment. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely is a requirement.We are a highly collaborative team and you will work extensively with members of the Integrated Talent team as well as with others across the Human Resources (People) team including senior leaders, program managers, designers, writers, web developers and other cross-functional partners from groups across Apple. We are seeking someone who demonstrates success working both independently and collaboratively with a number of partners across many disciplines. Success in the role will be largely dependent on being skilled in stakeholder management, leading through influence and ambiguity, and driving quickly to deliver results in fast-paced work environment.
10+ years of relevant experience in Internal Communications or a related field.Experience in consumer marketing or employee communications strategy, implementation, and analytics, ideally for benefits, total rewards and/or people-related initiatives. Ability to plan and drive projects to successful completion whether working independently or collaborating with cross-functional teams.Proven track record managing creative teams (design and writing) and the creative development process preferably in an internal communication, marketing or advertising agency setting. Experience planning multi-channel communication campaigns including ability to write program and project briefs, creating comms timelines and milestones, and bringing stakeholders along with timely updates.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to draft content for a range of internal communication channels including employee emails, newsletters, websites, Keynote presentations, digital screens, etc. Excellent interpersonal, planning, organization and implementation skills.Structured/analytical thinker with outstanding attention to detail. Shown success in managing international collaborations, particularly with localization teams. Innovative, with a critical/creative thinker attitude.Experience in interacting with and influencing all levels of management. Able to work independently, have the ability to work a flexible schedule, and embrace change and ambiguity enthusiastically.Strong active-listening skills.Familiarity and experience with Talent Development, Training Communication, Recruitment, and/or people-related communications initiatives.High proficiency with Apple applications preferred, including Keynote, Pages, and Numbers.Can leverage AI within guidelines to enhance efficiency in the work.
