NCDIT-Transportation (NCDIT-T) WEB Systems Team is seeking a PowerBI Dashboard Developer that will support the ongoing Power BI and business visualization development and support needs for our customers in client.
  • The candidate will need to come on-site on the first day to collect equipment.
  • All candidates must be local to the Triangle region of North Carolina.
  • This position may require on-site attendance when business needs warrant in-person participation, such as scheduled meetings or other task-specific activities.

NCDIT-Transportation (NCDIT-T) WEB Systems Team is seeking a PowerBI Dashboard Developer that will support the ongoing Power BI and business visualization development and support needs for our customers in client. These dashboarding and workspace requests from business users are outpacing capacity and are needed to support business processes like Power BI data modeling, Databricks and other enterprise data integrations, and client unit Workspace capacity and support requests.
The primary focus of this position is to design, develop, and support Power BI dashboarding capability for client and NCDMV customers with accessible dashboards and data visualizations that support enterprise reporting and decision making.
The complexity of these responsibilities is essential to ensuring the DIT-T Web Systems Unit can meet growing Power BI development and support demands that directly enable client and NCDMV business processes, enterprise reporting, and timely decision-making.
Role/Responsibilities:
-Create, update, and support Power BI reports, datasets, and dashboard prototypes
-Build enterprise-ready data models, DAX measures, and accessible visualizations for reporting platforms and business products
-Work cross team across NCDIT Transportation to bring consistency in reporting standards, visual design patterns, and governance practices
-Perform training sessions/webinars for client business customers on created visualizations and dashboards
-Support client customers with workspace access and data connection needs
