JOB SUMMARY:
Come join the team! The Youth Programs Intern will work as a member of the Youth Programs Department during the summer of 2026 for the Utah Mammoth. As a part-time employee, the intern will work with the Utah Mammoth Youth team on all youth and community hockey related events. This internship will provide the opportunity to assist in a variety of different events.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support in planning and execution of Utah Mammoth Youth parties and events.
  • Navigate SeatGeek, Project Admission, and Excel for ticketing, data entry, and jersey orders.
  • Attend Mammoth Youth camps to help with executing organizational needs.
  • Help plan and coordinate 3v3 tournaments.
  • Fulfill customer service for all Mammoth Youth participants and families via email and phone.
  • Own the Mammoth Youth email inbox and respond to emails and phone calls concerning 3v3 and general youth hockey inquiries.
  • Assist in planning for future programming, initiatives, and events.
  • Support the building of a diverse culture that enriches the lives of our employees, customers, partners, and communities.
  • Embrace a culture of inclusion where guests and team members feel welcomed, valued, and heard.
  • Strengthen and uplift Utah communities and create world-class experiences.
  • Operate with an emphasis on safety for employees, teams, and guests.

  • Hockey knowledge preferred.
  • Experience working with kids.
  • Experience in ticketing or similar data input.
  • Comfortable learning new platforms for various tasks.
  • Available to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have excellent follow through skills.
  • Must possess a valid Utah driver's license.
  • Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) screening in accordance with company policy and insurance requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
  • This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess.
  • The person must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • This person must be able to lift 20 lbs.
