What Your Job Will Be Like We are seeking Year-Round - Technical Undergraduate Interns to join our dynamic team for some exciting opportunities with Analytics, Reporting, API and AI/ML! On any given day, you may be called on to: Work collaboratively on teams that focus on research, development and innovation of software and data analytics solutions. Assist staff developers and architects who specialize in an array of technology stacks.

Perform updates to data analytics, SQL queries, PowerShell, enterprise business intelligence applications. Create/edit reports and/or visualizations (various COTS, including Power BI, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) Provide customer support Participate in team environments via structured development lifecycles Salary Range At Sandia, we value the important work done by our interns and its contribution to National Security. Because of this, our interns earn competitive pay rates.

Our pay structure is based on earned credit hours, classification, and degree level. Your pay rate will be determined during the hire process and included in your offer package. You can view the Intern Pay Rate chart here.

Qualifications We Require You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements: Currently attending and enrolled full time in a related accredited undergraduate program Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 Ability to work up to 25 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship Note: If you have not earned a HS diploma or equivalent, please apply to a high school intern position.

Qualifications We Desire Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Sciences, Management Information Systems, or other relevant STEM disciplines. Experience with Data Reporting & Visualization such as Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting capabilities. Experience with databases and query languages such as SQL.

Working knowledge of one or more reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Posit/RShiny) Experience with data, and data pipelines. Experience with databases (SQL, Oracle, etc.), ETL. Experience with AI and AI agents.

Some working knowledge of one or more programming languages or coding languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, HTML, CSS, .NET), and version control systems. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Possess a work ethic in alignment with Sandias values.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse team environment. Exposure to Agile project execution (SCRUM/Kanban, other Agile processes).
