Job Summary
Imaging Service Engineer (New York City)
Location: New York City
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000
Equipment: CT, MR, X-Ray, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Linear Accelerators, PET-CT
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Imaging Service Engineer to join our growing technical team, which supports advanced medical imaging systems across the New York City region. This is a hands-on role responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of diagnostic imaging equipment. You will play a critical role in ensuring system uptime, performance reliability, and high levels of customer satisfaction across hospital and clinical environments. If you're a technically strong engineer looking for stability, growth, and exposure to multiple imaging modalities, this opportunity offers strong long-term potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, service, and maintain medical imaging systems within your assigned region
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related faults
Perform preventative maintenance and quality assurance checks
Complete detailed service documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
Provide technical support and maintain strong relationships with clinical staff
Coordinate with internal teams to optimize service delivery and respond to a motivated and independent engineer with solid experience in medical imaging systems
Required Experience:
Skills: Minimum 2+ years' experience servicing or installing medical imaging equipment
Strong working knowledge of multi-modality imaging equipment
Experience with big iron is desirable
Exposure to CT, MR, X-Ray, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Linear Accelerators, PET-CT
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capability
Ability to manage a regional territory independently
Professional communication and customer service skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary: $80,000 - $120,000 (dependent on experience and modality expertise)
