Provides strategic sourcing and category management leadership for Transportation, Logistics, and Packaging categories, including leadership of a team of three direct reports.

Leads development and execution of enterprise sourcing strategies, delivering measurable value aligned to business priorities. Partners closely with business unit and functional leaders to identify opportunities, align on category strategies, and drive disciplined execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement
  • Coach team members to operate with an enterprise mindset and deliver measurable business impact
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop forward-looking category strategies, informed by market intelligence, supplier insights, and internal business needs
  • Lead complex, cross-functional sourcing events and develop and present data-driven business cases that increase value and minimize risk
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, influencing decisions through data-driven insights and clear recommendations
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders on strategy, trade-offs, and outcomes
  • Identify and challenge opportunities to optimize cost, improve service, and mitigate risk across categories
  • Act as a liaison between suppliers and McKesson BUs and lead periodic business review meetings with a focus on driving accountability and improved supplierperformance
  • Drive forecasting excellence through continuous18-month sourcing pipeline
