Law Enforcement Liaison III
We are looking for you on our team!
The Tarrant County Law Enforcement Liaison Project is responsible for assisting law enforcement officers in appropriately diverting persons with mental impairments from the criminal justice system into behavioral health treatment services. Staff provide 24-hour assistance to local law enforcement officers, as well as provide training and outreach activities. In addition, this position facilitates and/or conducts needs assessments, eligibility screenings and access to appropriate treatment and other social services for individuals with behavioral health needs.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education: Master's degree in social services, Criminal Justice, Marriage and Family Therapy or Psychology
Experience: Minimum of 2-year experience in a related field
License/Certifications: Valid Texas Driver's License, CJIS certification; Licensed Professional Counselor Intern, Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, Licensed Masters Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate
