Job description

The VM Intern will support the Visual Merchandising Italy team through organizational coordination, VM tools management, creative development, and reporting. The intern will also lead specific Italian VM actions in partnership with the Merchandising team, ensuring qualitative execution and contributing to the creation of visual materials including 3D designs for local events and guidelines.
ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT
  • Assist with the daily organizational needs of the VM department.
  • Facilitate communication between the VM team and Italian Office departments (Merchandising, Operations, Marketing).
  • Coordinate team-related projects such as organizing localworkshops, team buildings, and seminars.
  • Support the orchestration and logistics of VM events with internal teams and Europe/Global.

LEADERSHIP ON VM LOCAL ACTIONS
  • Act as theproject leaderfor VM Action initiatives in Italy, ensuring proper execution and alignment with objectives defined with the Merchandising team.
  • Collaborate closely with Merchandising to understand commercial priorities, identify impactful actions, and translate them into VM executions.
  • Producehigh-quality photo reportsshowcasing results, improvements, and best practices for Italy.
  • Monitor VM execution in boutiques and consolidate feedback for continuous improvement.

VM TOOLS MANAGEMENT (FASHION & W&FJ)
  • Manage VM tools for Fashion and Watches & Fine Jewellery: orders, budget, requests, deliveries, updates, and supplier follow-up.
  • Lead the monitoring of tools through theVM Tools Inventory App, ensuring accurate and updated information for every boutique.
  • Participate in CSR initiatives for tools (repair, reuse, recycling programs).

REPORTING & COMMUNICATION
  • Produce clear, structured, and visually appealingVM reporting: store photos, benchmarks, project follow-up, and VM Actions recaps.
  • Contribute to theVM Italy Newsletter, ensuring regular communication and inspiration for the VM community.
  • Support internal presentations to the Italy VM Office team.

VM COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
  • OrganizeVM Guidelines Quizzesthroughout the year to ensure that the entire VM community remains updated on guidelines, procedures, and best practices.
  • Track results, identify knowledge gaps, and propose corrective training actions.
  • Contribute actively to fostering adynamic, informed, and engaged VM community.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in the graphic design field.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, knowledge of French is considered a plus.
  • Advanced skills in the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Ability to work proactively in a dynamic environment.
  • Well-organized, methodic, responsible and dedicated.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with creative development and 3D design for local projects and events is considered a plus.
